Our first time here. We came because of the reviews. We had the halibut fish and chips with traditional coating. It was delicious! The coleslaw was tasty. It is more like a fish market but there was plenty of seating. It
reminds me of being at the coast, but cleaner. The gals working here were kind and helpful. It seemed a little pricey, but it was worth it. We would definitely come again.

Friendly service! I had the Cajun sturgeon fish and chips and it was delicious. Loved the coleslaw, fries were hot and crispy.

Stopped here just by chance and hunger and was blown away with great service, quality fish, and variety. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed:

Alaskan Halibut fish and Chios (battered in house and not greasy or over battered at all. Fish was fresh and best I've had across the country and even London. Coleslaw was awesome. Huckleberry lemonade was my wife's favorite. Stop here when you are in the area, you won't be disappointed!

We decided to visit based on the reviews, but I'm not sure I was eating the same dishes. The halibut fish and chips were so dry that we needed a knife to cut through it. The shrimp platter tasted like frozen food, and the ceviche resembled more of a shrimp salad. We couldn't finish the meal and didn't even bother taking the leftovers. Would not return.

They’re amazing.! I love Cod fish and chips, my husband loves clam strips, my sons love chicken fingers, and my daughter loves smoked salmon quesadillas. We’re all happy to be there. Our server lady was super sweet and generous. Halloween decorations are fantastic! Kids had a great time. Absolutely loved this place.

We made an impromptu stop for lunch here after a morning exploring the Historic Columbia Scenic Highway.
A perfect bookend to that drive with excellent fish dishes!
We had a shrimp Po’boy and a Cod fish and chips. Both were crispy and delicious, with a good flavour and the fish still succulent. Even the fries were excellent with a very good crust. Highly recommend!

I would not be able to say enough good things or reasons you should stop at this establishment. If you love seafood or even like seafood it is a must stop. The smoked salmon is delicious and my son loved the fried fish. They had fresh lemonade with berries that was very flavorful and refreshing. The staff knows hospitality and I felt well taken care of. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They even gave me ice for my to go smoked fish for my cooler! I try to make this spotna stop on my trip out West every year now. Highly recommend!

Sitting alongside the Columbia River, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Great outdoor dining which is both kid and dog friendly. The grilled halibut and ceviche were both very fresh. I didn't try the Oysters, not my thing, but my daughter found them very fresh as well.

My family and I passed this lovely place during our 5-week road trip through the north west. Our kids got the fish and chips, and my wife the smoked salmon ciabatta. I got their new salmon burger which was very tasty! See photo. Also the fries are nice and crunchy. Definitely recommend dropping by here if you get the chance.

The chowders are top-shelf. Fish & chips are super tasty. The freshest fish outside of going to the coast .. so bring your cooler w/ice if you are driving through the Gorge! Stop in to beautiful Cascade Locks and support a Native owned business!

We miss this place a lot. It's a very friendly and family vibe fish market that have the best and friendliest owners/staff. That alone kept us coming back but the fish and chips, you will NOT find an equal. I took my in laws here when they visited and both agreed. Thank you for sharing joy through your tasty food! I live in California now but I will be back to visit the gorge just for you guys!

Popped in after scenic drive down highway 30 to view gorgeous falls through the Columbia River Gorge. The little fish market was bustling on a brisk Sunday afternoon. Great service — enjoyed a delicious Smothered Ciabatta, toasted roll topped with chowder and smoked salmon. After visiting the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria, we revere fisherman and appreciate what they do to bring in the catch of the day!

Really, really excellent fish and chips. The breading is light and has a subtle sweet herb I could not place - cinnamon? Allspice? Nutmeg? I don't know - owner, tell me please! The halibut was moist and flaky. 4 stars only because I would have liked a couple more fresh fish options to take home, but I may be out of season.

This is my favorite place to go get food in Cascade Locks! The food is delicious I recommend the salmon or sturgeon that is locally sourced! Cajun style fish & chips is my go to EVERY TIME!

The staff is also so sweet! They also come up to our table and ask if everything is going good (IT IS! :) and it's a beautiful small business to support.

Make sure you tip good!! 😋

We got off I84 specifically to find fish sold by tribal fisherfolks, and we weren't disappointed after finding Brigham Fish Market! We bought fresh fillets of salmon, smoked salmon, and a super rich brownie. The gal who served us was super helpful and vacuum packed our fillers. Definitely will return, especially since we need to try the fish and chips now! ❤❤❤

WOW!! I had their halibut and chips and I wanted more. Like a lot more. I couldn't have eaten much more because the portion size was perfect but I definitely would have liked another serving, of course they would have to roll me out of their outdoor dining area. My husband and I decided to go to the Brigham fish market based on the reviews it has received. The food was good but the attitude of the person who took our order was abhorrent. It was necessary to pay upfront and I shouldn't have given a tip at all. The drink list did not indicate whether the beer was tap or can(I should have assumed can) and when my husband asked for the glass to be filled more she said it was out of a can. OK we are fine with that but then she went to the back and told everyone working back there in a sassy attitude that he wanted his glass filled. She assumed that I have bad hearing, well I don't. I could hear the whole thing. We try to support small business and we understand they are short staffed during COVID. We were the only people ordering at the time. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. You do not treat your customers in that fashion if you want to stay in business. Teach your employees some respect.

What a wonderful way to wrap up a day. We had the cod fish and chips which were delicious 😋. And the coleslaw. . . out of this world 🌎! I can’t wait to come back to try the steelhead fish’s and chips. The owner and her daughters are absolutely delightful and they are pet friendly. This is a prime example of a focused menu prepared to perfection.

I enjoyed dinner at the Brigham Fish Market on each of the two nights I recently spent in Cascade Locks (8/20 & 8/21). The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. In spite of being short staffed both nights, Marisa took the time to answer all of our questions & made sure our group of 4 were served promptly & with a generous helping of friendliness. Love her positive attitude. A total asset to the business.

We're staying in Stevenson for a few days, and we made the quick jaunt over to Bringham Fish Market for a late lunch, and we're so glad we did! My wife had the cod fish and chips and I had the same done gluten-free, and both meals were fantastic!! Super fresh fish with very light batter, great tartar sauce, and very enjoyable beer and wine. Everyone who works there was very friendly and attentive. We got the smoked salmon spread to go, and we're very excited to try it. Absolutely worth a visit!

What a find. If you're in this area and love fish, especially fish and chips, you need to stop here. They have a variety of different kinds of fish to choose from. I had halibut, and man was it good. Flaky, tender and just delicious. The staff was super nice, and the outdoor seating had a beautiful view. I will definitely be going back.

The cod fish and chips was very good. The salmon chowder tasted great and came out super hot. Loved the fried pickles. The fried mac and cheese tasted like straight Craft Mac n Cheese that had been fried.

Stopped in on a whim during our trip to the coast. What a fortunate whim. The business, the young lady who helped us (Olivia) and the food were all absolutely amazing. We asked for recommendations and Olivia recommended the sturgeon and chips and the halibut and chips which my wife and I ordered and shared. I now have a new favorite “fish and chips” restaurant. The fish was perfectly cooked, the breading was light and very tasty. I was also craving a really good chowder. Olivia recommended the salmon chowder, which we got, and a bowl of clam chowder as well. The clam chowder was excellent, but the salmon chowder was out of this world. The seasoning that they use, plus the fresh salmon is not to be missed. Don’t drive past this treasure if you’re in the area, stop and indulge. It’s even worth going out of your way to give this a try.

Great service. We had the sturgeon fish and chips and it was wonderful and tasty. Not greasy. Can't wait for salmon season to start in June. Fully equipped bathroom. Clean. Three tables inside and more outside. Limited Parking available. Also have dried fish for sale. It's a drive from Portland but so worth it. You won't be disappointed!

-The service was fantastic! Very kind and attentive.
-The fish and chips (halibut and sturgeon) were the best I have ever had! More important though was my father's experience. My father has tried fish and chips at probably over 50 places, he has high standards and I have seen him disappointed time and time again. I have never seen him more impressed by fish and chips than when he had them at Brigham Fish Market. The breading was just a light dusting/crust, perfect to celebrate the fish. The fish was cooked to perfection, not a moment too long, beautifully moist. My dad said these were the BEST fish and chips he can recall ever having.
- The smoked fish (sturgeon and salmon) was phenomenal. I often have a hard time eating smoked fish because I find it too salty, but this fish was perfectly seasoned, I didn't need a cracker or anything to go with it, it was good enough to have it just straight out of the bag!

I really do love this place. There’s nothing like it around here—the selection is always fresh and high quality. The cooked to order food is fantastic. The ladies are always friendly and quick. not only do we stop in every time we're in town to have some lovely fish and chips or other seafood today was a surprise out of norm. The wonderful staff for giving away 100 dinners for Christmas and loaded us up with a lovely ham, rolls a pumpkin pie and a bag of potatoes. What a wonderful gesture to do and it was completely unexpected. Thank you very much for that that was a wonderful gesture and really much appreciated.

Absolutely delicious! We had clam chowder and fish n' chips (halibut, tho they have several other fish options for their fish n' chips choices). Husband has traveled across the United States and tasted chowder from east to west... says THIS clam chowder was the best ever. And their shrimp ceviche... WOW! Add in the very friendly service and you've got a WINNER!

Unquestionably the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. I sampled both the cod and the halibut, both were phenomenal. My 7 year old every all three pieces of her cod which is unheard of. I'll be back the next time I'm on my way to Hood River!

Amazing place to dine outside or grab and go, and the business is very involved in the community, I love that they do drives every winter and are always generous and kind. Like friendly environments and food that’s so good you know you’ll be back for more? They’ve got it.

Oh my! I had been waiting for my chance to get back and have some yummy fish! My husband got a halibut Poboy to die for, it could've been 2 meal's! My cod and my grandson's clam strips were delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed the view! The staff is friendly and it's a very clean restaurant! I'm anxiously waiting to go back!

Great fish and chips stop. The smokes sturgeon was really good. I would say avoid the PO boys. I got one based on prior reviews. The lady helping me at counter suggested the shrimp po boy. The individual components are good. The shrimp is great, bread is good but a little too much bread. Coleslaw is good to but it needs a spicy sauce to tie it all together. Using the tartar sauce in this sandwich is not a good choice. It blends in with the coleslaw too much. You need a spicy sauce to tie it all together and compliment everything. Omit the tartar sauce.

Absolutely SUPERB!! Seems every time I go there they are closed. NOT TODAY😁😁😁had the fish and chips with a very cold stain of beer to compliment the meal. Fish was expertly cooked. Hot! Very hot! I recommend you let your meal stand a minute or two to get the full flavor of your fish! Kim was awesome! Wonderful personality and awesome candor about their products. Fabulous fish & chips!! We love their coating of the fish, which is like seasoned bread crumbs instead of heavy beer batter.. and it’s NOT GREASY!!! Nice little restaurant right off I-84 with the Gorge as a backdrop. The owner was incredibly kind. The food was absolutely delicious. She suggested the Sturgeon Fish and Chips, which were amazing. I took home some Salmon Chowder, too, which was also amazing, even when reheated.

Depending on the time of year will determine what fish is being sold in the case. Always fresh and top quality. Popular for fish and chips, cod or halibut with certain times in the year also offering salmon. Clam and salmon chowder by the cup or bowl. Closed Wednesdays.

Really great service and great fish and chips. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and we still served with a smile. Had the halibut and chips. The halibut came as sticks, but you still got a good bit of perfectly cooked fish. The chips are.really good, not cold or.soggy. You have to trust a place that has real malt vinegar! They also have different batter options including gluten free. The prices are very reasonable for the portion. I'd go back if in the area again.

Probably the worse fish I've ever had. Rubber texture and fishy taste. Not what you want for Alaskan halibut. Macaroni bites are some cheap brand of something like that boxed Kraft junk. I am not sure how the have good ratings on Yelp.

When our meals took longer than anticipated, the owner (?) was conscientious of the delay and very attentive; we were given complimentary chowder and some smoked salmon packed on ice for the road. We got here right before closing, which kinda bummed me out because had I known that their food would be so tasty, I might’ve spent the whole day here eating. Being from the zone of eastern standard time, I’m not used to salmon fish & chips, but this salmon was just so fresh and so delicious. Maybe west coasters take it for granted, but I was blown away. I would definitely eat here again, and again, and again. I would go full Reese Witherspoon Wild just to eat here.

The BEST smoked fish I've ever had!
It's more on a spendy side, I believe it was $26.99 lb. For this couple pieces I paid $11.
But it's worth it. The only bad side about it is now I crave it constantly. 😆😋

Oh my god!!!! The food was fantastic !! The chowder was delicious you have to go try out this restaurant drove 72 miles to eat there and it was so so worth every mile.

The cod sandwich and the halibut poboy were amazing. My husband and I should have shared a meal. Neither of us could eat it all..the portions are Huge.
The fish was very fresh and the fries were homemade.
A little pricey, but definitely worth it .
You will not be disappointed with flavor or freshness.

Very delicious smoked salmon poboy. Kids enjoyed the fish and chips, all were hot and fresh. Service was mixed, the one who took my order didn't seem to like tourists very much (I needed a bit of help interpreting the menu as I had no idea what a poboy or hoagie rolls were) and would've earned this place less stars if not for the friendly one who then brought our food out.

We normally love this place, the service and esp. the Chinook, when in season, is Fabulous but we had quite a memorable negative experience recently.
If it had been our first time there, we wouldn't return.
Do not order the Smoked Salmon Nachos which includes Tortilla Chips, Unmelted Shredded Cheese, Shredded Smoked Salmon, Salsa, Pico & Sour Cream and Coleslaw. We requested to have all the extra items on the side so we could add what we wanted. Even though onions and jalapenos were not listed as items, we were asked multiple times if we wanted them. We declined. Placing our order became more of an ordeal than it should have.

Do not ask for the cheese to be melted on the tortilla chips (b/c they don't have a way to melt the cheese, unless they heat up the smoker which can take up to 30 min.) that only brings out a confrontational staff member who will state, "I heard there's a problem" which there wasn't until she came to our table explaining how they serve FRESH cheese and the Smoked Salmon Nachos was intended to be more like a dip.

After unsuccessfully attempting to have the cheese melted, a very kind employee (wearing a ball cap) who we've encountered before, offered to give us a complimentary quesadilla even after we stated that wasn't necessary. Kudos to that employee. Great way to take care of a customer.
But instead, we received intervention from "The Other Employee" - the one who took our order (No ball cap) and no quesadilla.

They don't always have a lot of seafood there for sale or what they got is great. And if you're like me and you love clam chowder this place has the best clam chowder on the West Coast I've had Chowder from Bangor Maine the Key West Florida to Baja California to Vancouver BC and the best charter in the world was pal Shanty but they're closed now so go to the Brigham fish market in Cascade Locks and you will have the best clam chowder on the West Coast

The food here is delicious. We always stop here on our way through the Gorge. The fish and chips are great, as is the smoked fish. We also got a shrimp cocktail here that was excellent.

Amazing combo fish market restaurant. We had a limited special, fish tacos for Cinco de Mayo. Battered and deep fried cod with fresh cabbage slaw, onions and cilantro with a house dressing with an spicier option. Avoided fish tacos for years but no longer. They were delicious. We were told that they may add them to their regular menu. Yay!!! Also tried Half-size Salmon Spread on Ciabatta bread. It looked a bit plain but the flavor was outstanding. The salmon spread had several layers of flavor and a little kick. Ciabatta bread was warmed with the right balance of soft and chewy. That also serve beer and wine. Excellent, friendly service.

- Sturgeon fish and chips - not too greasy, tastes like chicken, firm. They cut up fish chunks straight from the fridge.
- Sockeye salmon with honey and pepper is good

Wow! Clam chowder, salmon chowder and sturgeon fish and chips, out of this world! The coleslaw was superb. Friendly staff, efficient service. This place is great for a quick, tasty meal.

This is a fish market that also sells Fish & Chips, and Clam or Salmon chowder. There is a small eating area for about 20 people. The employees are very knowledgeable about the fish they sell. They made good recommendations and backed them up with solid rationale. My wife and I ate there, and both had Halibut fish and ships and shared a small salmon chowder. I have never ordered fish and chips before when I could select what kind of fish I wanted (see menu photo). The market breads their own halibut. Fish for sale is clearly marked whether fresh or frozen. Salmon is local. They don't offer formal table service, but they do bring the food to the table and bus the table when we are done. There is self-serve water available for free and soft drinks available as well. Simple, but exceptional taste and service. Very friendly staff. I'm a loyal customer now! Best clam chowder ever. Other chowders too delicious. Fresh Salmon. Best smoked salmon dip and smoked Salmon. I love this place Owner and staff 5 star. Today I had fish and chips. Won't go anywhere else now. Several choices for fish Cod, Halibut, Sturgeon, and my new fave I had today Salmon and chips. Even the fries were stellar.

The employees were so friendly! They answered all our questions about the menu. I loved the salmon chowder, halibut fish n chips and fried oysters.

Halibut comes with 2 large pieces, coleslaw and french fries. Fried oysters are a dozen.

I'll be coming back to try the cod fish n chips and clam chowder. Annnnnnd also another order of fried oysters. How can you not?!
